Yeah, I'd get rid of the {{Willow}} entry. Just put "See WillowRosenberg" in it or something. Good to see one of the most important entries is being fixed up (BuffySummers). I was going to do something about that, but haven't really had the time recently. I don't know anything about the movie, as I've never seen all of it, and don't intend to. It's a pretty bad movie...
{{Kaivaal}} May 07, 2004 12:32am AEST
Oh, and if I'm off on some of the events of the movie, please correct them. I'm trying not to delve into details because, well, I haven't seen it. I've tried, twice, but it's a very hard film to get all the way through.
I really, really hate the movie.
Smo 5 May 2004
Good to see some progress being made. Just wanted to say that I'm in the middle of reworking the BuffySummers page. Wanted to clean up the grammer, make things more concise, that kind of thing. I stumbled across the {{Willow}} page as well as the (much more useful) WillowRosenberg page. I'd delete the former, but I figured I'd ask first. So, if someone objects, speak up.
Smo 5 May 2004
ZachsMind, thanks for adding that little bit to the {{God}} entry. Feel free to add to/edit what I've written anywhere here. The only reason I'd put the currently in the process of writing thing there was because I hadn't really finished everything I was going to say. It's not as if I've signed it and don't want anyone to touch it. So feel free to mess around with it as much as you want. By the way, the bit about {{God}} Willow? would be perfect to expand upon in the {{Whedonology}} section.
{{Kaivaal}} May 03, 2004 2:32pm AEST
added entries for every (I hope) AngelWriters writer? and AngelDirectors director? for Angel, as well as all the episodes that didn't already have an entry (practically all of seasons 1-3)
areacode212 April 15, 2004 12:37pm EST
I've added a rather lengthy entry for {{Zombie}}s.
{{Kaivaal}} April 13, 2004 8:32pm AEST
Addictive, I reckon! I recently added a few Demons ({{Machida}} and MolochTheCorrupter), and saw that you were adding to the BuffyCharactersVillains page, so I made an AngelCharactersVillains page. I haven't put much in there yet. By the way, does anyone know the name of or what type of demon that thing in the AtSSeasonTwo ep AreYouNowOrHaveYouEverBeen was? The episode where the gang first move in to the Hyperion and Angel remembers back to the 50's. Might be a Paranoia Demon?
{{Kaivaal}} March 25, 2004 2:50pm AEST
This is really addictive. Lately, I wrote up entries for W&H's SatelliteCannon, Harmony's {{Chopsticks}}, and Gunn & Lindsey's {{PickupTruck}}s. Also, I threw together a bare-bones entry for {{Sunday}}, and I can't believe it took me this long since she's, like, my all-time favorite one-shot villain.
areacode212 March 24, 2004 10:35pm EST
Ok, {{Anya}}'s entry is looking a little better now. To the person who wrote the AnyankaJenkins entry, don't worry, its all in the {{Anya}} reference now, and sounding a little more coherant (except for the last bit which I haven't touched yet). I've still got a bit to do, but anyone wanting to fix it up, be my guest as things are still a little rough. The dot points are the basics, while the detailed history is below it.
{{Kaivaal}} March 19, 2004 11:16pm AEST
ZachsMind I love your {{Apocalypses}} page - missed one though - I added a description for Grave.
gingeriffic March 17, 2004 9:44 AEST
Great! The .com's up.
Quicklist of additions and changes:
{{Jasmine}}
{{Ben}}
{{Blood}}
{{Glory}}
and the AtSSeasonFour ep "TheMagicBullet" is now TheMagicBullet, not MagicBullet.
{{Kaivaal}} March 17, 2004 3:03pm AEST
Good stuff going on here. Thanks folks! I've registered whedonwiki.com. It should start working within the next 24 hours.
CvOdB March 16, 2004 10:22 am CET
No problems. I doubt she'll get a last name either, being a biblical reference and all. Anyway, I made a new character section for AngelTheSeries titled AngelCharactersFangGang using stuff from the FangGang reference (very similar to BuffyCharactersScoobyGang). Feel free to add to it whenever you want. I have also made a new reference under {{God}}. Tell me if you agree with what I've written (it's a pretty sketchy subject).
{{Kaivaal}} March 16, 2004 6:02 pm AEST
Thanks for setting up the {{Eve}} entry, kaivaal. Hopefully she'll get a last name by the end of the series to make things easier (doubt it'll happen, though).
areacode212 3/15/04 5:31 p.m. EST
I've made a new entry under {{Vampire}} and redirected {{Vampires}} (which had nothing in it anyway). It really needs a lot more (which I'll get around to), considering Vampires are central to the BuffyVerse. I've also created a reference called {{Weapons}}, where we can list all known weapons from the BuffyVerse. I'm unsure where to put this entry in the WhedonWikiIndex though.
{{Kaivaal}} March 16, 2004 1:26am AEST
I've added a new section under the heading BuffyVerse on the Main page titled {{Demonology}}. This is where we can stick all known demons/creatures/gods/spirits from BtVS, AtS and {{Fray}}. I've also added episode information for BewitchedBotheredAndBewildered, {{Doppelgangland}} and ANewMan. I also put in a brief description for {{Spike}} which needs to be added to.
{{Kaivaal}} March 15, 2004 12:03am AEST
areacode212, I was able to fix your little problem with the {{Eve}} entry. She is now listed under AngelCharactersFemale and you can add to her reference. I changed the Potential Slayer Eve entry to PSEve. Not the best name, I know, but I can easily change it again.
{{Kaivaal}} March 15, 2004 10:43pm AEST
I've added a brief description and a few points for {{Anya}}, who suprisingly had nothing there already. Feel free to edit what I've done so far. I'll add some more later. Also I've made a new reference for {{Angel}} under the heading AngelAKAs. If you guys like it, we could possibly make one for each character.
{{Kaivaal}} March 14, 2004, 2:01am AEST
Damn, now I realise there are multiple entries for {{Anya}} under different headings, like AnyankaJenkins. Which should we go with? I think we should go {{Anya}}, mainly because it's the name listed under BuffyCharactersFemale and her only real human name.
{{Kaivaal}} Added March 14, 2004, 2:16am AEST
I updated several entries around the site (the AngelWriters section, AtSSeasonFive, the Actors pages, etc.), created a bunch of (admittedly sparse) entries for various characters (JustineCooper, NinaAsh, AmyMadison, AnneSteele, DanielHoltz, etc.). Others can flesh them out later (or I can do it when I'm in the mood).
areacode212 February 21, 2004, 7:48pm EST
Hi there. I wanted to create an entry for Eve, the AtS character played by {{SarahThompson}} Sarah Thompson?. But there's already an existing one for Eve, the BtVS character. What should the newer Eve be called?
areacode212 February 21, 2004, 4:09pm EST
Let's see. Not so good at introductions and all that. But I've done some editing here and there in the past and heavier lately. I added my name to the list o' obsess- er, writers. So, Hi.
Smo 26 November 2003 @ 1:00 am CST
Hello. This is great! I just added something about {{Roseanne}}, which was Joss's first big job in TV writing. I hope to add more over time.
PeterObject 26 Oct 2003 @ 11:48 am GMT
I added my name to the list of editors, but I'm not sure that I'm comfortable being there. I did however make a change to the HatTrick page, because it seemed to contain a spoiler. Thin line, but personally I'd rather be on the safe side.
abbylee 9/15/2003 @ 12:30 pm CST
Just browsing and doing a little reflexive spellcheck. I'm thinking of adding a spoiler section for the FireFlyTheMovie, but I'm skeerd to touch it...
No, no I'm not. Added it.
({{zencat}} 9/14/2003 @ 12:20 pm EST)
I just finished editing on JossWhedon. We're calling the movie BuffyTheVampireSlayerTheMovie, right? My big question was, how are we doing redirects? For example, AtS and AngelTheSeries and Angel and such (Ok, just realized from reading below that Angel's a slightly bad example...). I noticed that at wikipedia.org, they have a redirect function (e.g. Looking for Hook, the movie with Robin Williams, redirects to Peter Pan. Don't ask me why I know that). Are we utilizing something like that?
Happy to bring the spellosity on, ZachsMind ;p.
Also, what are we doing with punctuation and apostrophes? Is it ', or is it ,'?
({{mchan}} 9/14/2003 @ 10:33 pm JST)
Hey if I can't be snarky now and then, where's the joy? =) A Wiki should be what its participants bring to it. I bring my snarkiness. Mchan brings.. uhm, spellosity. Which isn't a word, but still..! Very important. (ZachsMind 9/11/3@10:05pm)
Oh, and another question...how much of these pages are supposed to be opinion? There seemed to be quite a bit of "snarky editorializing" on some of the pages that I found hilarious, but I'm not sure if the intent of the Wiki is to be like this, or to be more informative.
(mchan Sept. 12, 2003 @ 1:33 am JST)
Hi. Hope that no one minds, but I've been browsing through correcting spelling and stuff. I hope that I didn't do anything wrong. If so, please just erase me.
(mchan Sept. 12, 2003 @ 1:10 am JST)
Gotcha, Wren. There's also an uncredited appearance of Jonathan somewhere in seasons two or three, where he walks into the library at an inopportune moment with some unnamed female student, asking the harried Giles for a book. However, I can't remember the episode name so I skipped it. Figured others would take up the slack for the ones I overlooked. So thanks. =) (ZachsMind Sept 8th, 2003 @ 10:00am CST)
Zach - I made some changes to your Jonathan page. I just pulled some main events out to the top of the page and fleshed out the intro. I noticed though that you left out a number of season 2 episodes he was in. I know he was there in What's My Line Part 1 when the redheaded cop took him hostage; and he was "dating" Cordelia at the end of ReptileBoy. Just FYI. (wren Sept 8, 2003 @ 10:55am EST)
M'kay. =) Fixed. (ZachsMind Sept 5th, 2003 @ 4:02pm CST)
It's with one n in the dictionary. (CvOdB 5/9/2003 10:00pm)
M'kay. =) Done. (ZachsMind Sept 5th, 2003 @ 2:34pm CST) ... "the an/nointed one" is that two Ns or one? (2:43p CST)
I would prefer to see DHoffryn. DeeHoffryn? suggests it's pronounced that way and I don't think it is. (CvOdB 1/9/2003 8:48pm)
Just checking in - I took a few days off, but I'm back to the writing and the organizing again. And look! We have a new writer. AaronSw (wren 9-4-03 4:28pmEST)
[shrug] It'd also be nice if there were some way to track the linkage. Make cross-referencing more visible by showing how people get from one link to another, and how often traffic between links occurs. But don't git me wrong a vast majority of Wiki is suitable for purposes of what's happening here. I'm wondering about images. I see in the documentation that it's possible, but are we avoiding that for a reason? (ZachsMind 09/02/03@4:55pmCST)
I've decided the main flaw of this pmwiki software is that it doesn't keep track of who does what. I mean there MUST be other people fiddling with the pages than just the three of us? (CvOdB 2/9/2003 5:10pm CET)
Woah! Okay! That works for me. =) (ZachsMind 09/01/03@3:04pmCST)
Not sure about it myself either. I said I was tempted but didn't know if it'd better. Admittedly this does now make WhedonWiki look more like it's a part of Whedonesque.com itself, while also retaining it's own individuality cuz the color scheme is similar to the front forum of the site but not exact. It's an improvement but may not be where you want to keep it. Maybe if the background were a dark gradient of grey instead of completely black? It may involve some trial and error. (ZachsMind 09/01/03@12:21pmCST)
There you are, white on black. Not sure about it myself. Perhaps I'll change the link colours to the ones we use on Whedonesque so it becomes more apparent the two sites belong together. (CvOdB 01/09/03 17:10pmCET)
Not alarmed. Like the color scheme actually. There should be a little dark red in there. I'm tempted to ask for a flipflop white text on black background, but not sure if that'd be any better on the eyes than black on white. (ZachsMind 08/31/03 9:54pmCST)
Don't be alarmed. I'm working on the stylesheets.
(CvOdB 08/31/03 11:57pmCET)
Yeah well.. the question mark was due to careless copypasting. I didn't intentionally type thw question mark there. Just trying to save a step here and there. Will watch that in the future. Actually before seeing this I've come to realize when I find myself repeating stuff (like the 'cast' list at the bottom of some episode pages I've been doing) it should be a caution warning sign. I'm thinking of going back and just adding links to the BuffyCharactersScoobyGang page so I can shorten the cast list for any given episode. Anything to make these things smaller. I'm not very good at brevity, or editing my own crap. Am trying, though. (ZachsMind 08/30/03@8:58pm)
(re: NeverKillABoyOnTheFirstDate and elsewhere) You don't have to put a question mark behind new Wiki Words to make them Wiki Words.
MadeUpWikiWord? instead of MadeUpWikiWord??
(CvOdB 08/30/03 11:49pmCET)
To delete a page, delete all the text, then just write 'delete' and save.
TheSlayerGap looks like a good solution.
(CvOdB 08/30/03 9:40amCET)
In fact come to think of it I don't need BuffyCharactersScoobies? anymore, but I don't know how to delete it. I prefer BuffyCharactersScoobyGang anyway. Makes more sense. I mean Wren was correct there. How do I remove the older page?
On a different note, As I was editing the timeline in the BuffyCharactersVampireSlayers page, a thought occurred to me that I felt needed to be addressed but I wasn't sure how to go about it. So I called it TheSlayerGap and put it on a different page. Is there a better way to do that than how I did it so I'll know for future reference or is what I done did cool? (ZachsMind 08/29/03@8:11pmCST)
Water under the bridge, Caroline. I think it turned out okay. (ZachsMind 08/29/03@6:49pmCST)
I think it's customary on Wikis not to criticise on the page (I saw a page where Wren and Zachmind were working at the same time) Not sure about that though. But I think, leave things for a while and then either comment on stuff here or email the author, if known.
I can't believe the amount of info already amassed here.
(CvOdB 08/29/03 11:56pmCET)
Suh-weet. Like the format. I'll experiment with a couple episodes later today if i can find time. I especially like the 'things we learned' thing. Good idea!
Brief? Is that in my vocabulary? I'll have to get back to ya. =)
(ZachsMind 08/29/03@3:57pmCST)
Here's my suggestion for the episode pages: I think there should be a brief (BRIEF, Zach!) summary of the episode, a la TVGuide?. I mean 2-3 sentences max. Then if there were any major events that happened in the episode, i.e. Angel stakes Darla, Buffy has sex with Spike, Tara dies, etc, they should be noted. (Some episodes may not have anything worth noting). Quotes are always nice to add. And my favorite part of episode pages is always the "Things We Learned" section. So I'd suggest a little trivia sectoin at the end that notes stuff like:
- Xander's middle name is LaVelle?
- Willow is afraid of frogs
- Angel has a large celtic tattoo on his right shoulder blade
- Giles can play the guitar. And sing!
I set up a sample for my favorite episode, IOnlyHaveEyesForYou.
(wren 8-29 2:30pm EST)
I've been thinking about the episode titles but am unsure how to move forward. There's countless episode guides on the Internet. Anything I come up with seems to just repeat the efforts that have gone on before, so even summaries of episode plots or recitations of popular quotations seems rather pointless. I welcome a discussion on this idea, either here or elsewhere. One would think the episode titles would be the ideal place to see other pages in WhedonWiki cross-referenced where appropriate, but how to go about doing it, I'm at a loss. Should there be some kind of format or template for the episode pages, or is it just a chaotic free for all depending on people's whims or interest in various episodes? (ZachsMind 08/29/03@12:12pmCST)
The following was lifted from BuffyCharactersScoobyGang originally written by Wren:
[Zach - this cracks me up. I mean, you're not wrong - but actually labelling every other cast member "periphery" in Season 6 cracks me up. Good grief, Willow and Tara were living at the Summers house - they can't count as Core Scoobies? :-) delete this later, just had to comment ~ Wren]
Zach says: S.6 is a curious monster. The point of the season was that Buffy wasn't letting any of her friends in, except occasionally she'd let Spike in but only to shut him out again. So it made sense at the time I put it there, but you are right I guess technically the CORE that season was Willow, Tara and Dawnie. Xander & Anya flipflopped, sometimes being Core and sometimes being.. well they ALL flipflopped really. Dangit maybe season six is gonna make it impossible to organize the ScoobyGang list by season. Maybe if there was some way to chart the evolution of the gang, notating each and every change on some kinda temporal graph. Ugh this looked so deceptively simple when I started. (ZachsMind August 29th, 2003 @ 11:58am CST)
the following exchange occurred 08/26/03 - 08/28/03 : Please don't add anything below these lines.
This is where people who work on WhedonWiki can leave messsages for each other.
(cvodb, August 26, 2003)
I tried not to lose any of all your work when I moved WhedonWiki wiki under /Main.
(cvodb, August 26, 2003.)
I started tinkering around in here at this time & date. I apologize ahead of time if I break anything.
(ZachsMind, August 26, 2003. 6:30pm CST)
Can we do the episode titles as WikiWords? instead of free links? It would be so much easier that way. It's hard enough doing free links for Angel, Spike, Faith and Lorne. One-named characters are the bane of my Wiki existence.
(Wren, August 6, 2003. 10:50 EST)
I tried them as WikiWords? originally, but they looked weird, so I figured free links would be better. Angel is going to be very difficult, because there's Angel the first season Buffy episode, Angel the spinoff series, Angel the character himself, and then there's angel food cake and angel shapes made in the snow when ya lay down and... Okay this is California we're talking about so we don't have to worry about that last one.. I guess my point is I understand where you're coming from with the Wiki Words thing. I'll go back and change them all to WikiWords? and we'll see if that works. I should point out though that I'm gonna turn into a pumpkin soon (it's past my bedtime) and I had planned on actually writing stuff tonight, but I guess we need to hammer out the infrastructure for entries before we actually start writing the entries.
(ZachsMind, August 26, 2003. 10:41pm CST)
- It shouldn't be too difficult. Angel the Series has been established as AngelTheSeries (or AtS). Angel the character is simply {{Angel}} (free link). Angel the episode poses a small difficulty, but the fact is that there will be WAY more entries referring to the character {{Angel}} than the episode. Let's just call it AngelTheEpisode or something. And as you begin writing entries, you'll develop a greater appreciation for WikiWords?. They're just so. damn. easy! (wren 12:06 am EST)
Well okay I went through all the pages I had already attempted, and converted everything I could to WikiWords?. I kept one word titles in the freelink brackets. I already see problems with consistency though. If one were to write up a character biography for the BtVS namesake, what should it be called?
- {{Buffy}}
- BuffySummers
- BuffyAnneSummers?
- BuffyAnnSommers? (a perhaps common misspelling)
- ElizabethAnneSummers (a misunderstanding among many {{FanFiction}}adoes)
- TheBuffster
- AllWorkAndNoPlayBuffy? (something Willow once called her)
- BuffySummersClassProtector? (something {{Jonathan}} once called her)
- {{B}} (which {{Faith}} called her)
The list is {{potential}}ly endless. My first instinct would be to just use {{Buffy}} since it would be more common in any prose for people to refer to the characters by their first names, rather than spell out their entire full name every time. However, the BuffyCharactersMale and BuffyCharactersFemale pages are a mix of the two. We can't use full names, because casual viewers will search for {{Oz}} in order to find out his full name is {{Daniel Osbourne}} and that he's a {{werewolf}}, or would we call him a {{lycanthrope}}? Is there a standard for this sort of thing, or does WhedonWiki need to create its own standard? Oh well. I'm a pumpkin. Goin' to bed.
(ZachsMind, August 26, 2003. 11:42pm CST)
- Wow, I created a monster! I went to bed for a couple of hours and look what happens. I don't know about standards, but I will have a look at other Wikis and see what happens there.
(CvOdB, August 27, 2003. 7:11am GMT)
- You think this is bad? Just wait till people start actually quoting from the show. ShesAHeroYouSeeShesNotLikeUs. Ookay. Honest. I'm going to bed now. Damn tomorrow's gonna be a real bear.
(ZachsMind, August 27, 2003. 12:16am CST)
- Actually it's not as bad as I thought it'd be. I'm just drinking a lot of coffee.
(ZachsMind, August 27, 2003. 8:09am CST)
Several points about standards.
- I think the general rule should be to go by the full (first and last) character name for primary entries. (Makes WikiWords? easy!) BuffySummers, CordeliaChase, etc. Characters who definitely have only one name (Angel, Spike, Faith) should be free links. Oz is a strange case; I think it's worth doing the primary character entry under Oz and mentioning that his real name is DanielOsbourne.
- The fun thing about Wiki though is that we can create a page for TheBuffster. Look, I just did! See how it refers back to the primary character page for BuffySummers! So there's no need to copy all the Buffy info over to every page for a different Buffy name.
- Mistaken pages like ElizabethAnneSummers shouldn't be an issue. And if they're created, Caroline can either delete them or they can be labeled a fan mistake.
- WikiWords? aren't actually created until you type in an entry. So if someone mistypes AHugeTypo? somewhere, it's no big deal. It's not actually going into the database.
- And if you search on only one name, like 'Doyle,' the Wiki search feature will give you all the pages about FrancisDoyle too. Try it out - it's very smart.
(wren August 27 11:45 EST)
You both write more than Shakespeare managed in his lifetime. With a gazillion other sites to manage, I'm not going to be able to contribute as much. Besides, I wouldn't KNOW enough by heart. So, fair play to you both!
I did do a bit of AnthonyStewartHead though (he's all miiiiine). I think I'll just do the odd editing here and there, fix mistakes, etc. I'm going to activate a link from Whedonesque to the wiki, see what happens.
(CvOdB, August 27, 19:03 CET)
SaltyGoodness The more the merrier. Don't worry about not being "able to contribute as much." Thanks for the Wiki playground to do all things Whedon in. That's quite a lot to contribute right there. Each participant will contribute what they can of course. It's what makes things like this so fun. I discovered another concern. Someone before me listed SeasonOne, SeasonTwo and so forth for Buffy episode listings. However, that doesn't take into account AngelTheSeries. How are we to list those episodes without confusing them with BuffyTheSeries?? Also I'm not sure if I understand the basic direction this place should go. Are we wanting to regurgitate what's available at a score of other sites by doing episode synopses and character bios, or do we want to hunt down every noun associated with the various tv series and wiki them all, turning this place into a literal treasure trove of encyclopedia entries that not only define, say for example the word 'mask', but also how that word ties into the Whedonesque BuffyVerse? Do we want to be more like http://www.atpobtvs.com(approve sites) or http://www.justinleader.com/annotatedbuffy(approve sites) or http://bdb.vrya.net(approve sites) or http://www.buffyguide.com(approve sites) or are we purposefully trying to be nothing like any of those? I guess I'm just wondering if there's a mission statement of some kind. A goal we should all shoot for or debate or just mull over. (ZachsMind, August 27 2003, 12:30pm CST)
Encyclopedic treasure trove sounds good. I don't think we should copy too much from other sites. WhedonWiki doesn't have to be all inclusive from the start, we can let it grow as more and more people leave their bits of knowledge on various subjects. I.e. writing a full bio like I just started on the AnthonyStewartHead page should perhaps not be the norm.
Refactoring pages is something that's done frequently on Wikis. This means that longer pieces are edited down (usually by more experienced users on the site) and summaries are created. The etiquette is to leave signed pieces (usually containing someone's opinion) in peace. They can be edited, but their meaning should not be changed.
I'll fix the Season problem by moving everything to BtVSSeasonOne?, AngelSeasonOne?, etc.
(CvOdB, August 27, 2003, 20:11pm CET)
More thoughts: Can we agree to keep paragraphs short, it makes stuff easier to read. I also think the writing should be factual, academic and not too popular. I think value judgements should be avoided.
(CvOdB, August 27, 2003, 22:45pm CET)
Yeah, I like the shorter, fact-based blurbs. I've referred to several Wiki's recently for info and definitions; I didn't want to have to read whole paragraphs to find what I was looking for.
Caroline - do you want to keep the AngelActorsSupporting? group, or just divide them up male/female, regulars/other the way the Buffy actors are?
(wren August 27, 5:12 EST)
I tend to be longwinded. It's a curse.
I agree with Wren that the actor list needs to become more manageable, but I don't know if I like breaking it up by regulars as opposed to others. It seems too subjective a delineation. For example, AdamBusch?, DannyStrong and Tom Lenk are in the regular list but appeared quite irregularly throughout the series. ArminShimmerman? is listed presently as one of the others but for a time was at least as regular as the {{Troika}} members. ...Maybe a breakdown by season..? (ZachsMind Aug 27th, 7:20p CST)
...well that didn't work. ASH & Nicky are the only men to have been in every season. DannyStrong comes in second with every season except number five. So we can't break it down by season either. It makes no sense. ...Hey is it just the three of us in here? Where is everybody? I hate it when someone throws a party and people don't show up. Come on! Show yourselves people! Don't be shy! We don't bite.. often. Okay I'm going to bed. (ZachsMind Aug 27th, 11:21p CST)
10 years of writing on line has made me queen of the one liners. It's great online, but looks a bit odd when I do it at work.
Did I not remove AngelActorsSupporting? last night? I'll do it now.
The regulars/others division was a quick thing I did last night to separate the main characters.
I found two other Buffy related Wikis on the web. Both haven't been edited since 2002.
(CvOdB, 28/7/2003, 7:18am CET)
In the Btvs page I'm introducing the idea of cross-referencing characters not just by gender but also by where their talents or loyalties are. This idea may or may not fly, but if it does we could further cross-reference in other ways, by perhaps death toll, number of episodes featured, type of interests (TechnoPagans? getting their own page separate from WereWolves? or ExDemons? etc). I don't know if it would work, but just separating the boys from the girls was quickly getting frustrating. Lemme know what ya think.

I like that - it's almost like the card game vibe.

There's a CARD GAME too?? ..oh why does that surprise me?

Ok, I've devided the Angel actors up as Regular, Recurring, or Other Guest Stars. I designate anyone who appeared (as the same character) in 3 or more episodes of the show recurring. Seemed like a decent enough standard for me, and a way to sort the more important guest stars out from the rest.
