• Arrives in {{Sunnydale}} a few weeks before {{Buffy}} and takes up the position of librarian at SunnydaleHS.
• Found himself unemployed after SunnydaleHS blew to pieces in {{GraduationDayPartTwo?}}.
• Owned and operated the MagicBox shortly thereafter.
• Left during BtvsSeasonSix because he felt Buffy was relying on him too much.
• Returned later in the season in an attempt to defeat DarkWillow.
• After the destruction of the WathcersCouncil? in England, Giles came back to Sunnydale for a longer period to assist in the fight with TheFirstEvil.
