The Eve that we saw was actually TheFirstEvil posing as Eve, operating as a spy. She remained with the other {{PotentialSlayer}}s overnight, like a snake languishing with kittens. She instilled and stirred fear among the ranks, and was not found out until BuffySummers returned from the roadside hotel, having discovered Eve's dead body. Eve was actually thought to have been murdered in her hotel room by one of TheBringers before she even made it to Buffy's care. Eve never had a chance to achieve VampireSlayer status through TheScythe spell. Eve was blonde, and spoke in a thick southern accent.
