According to one novel, the immediate VampireSlayer predecessor to BuffySummers. According to NancyHolder?'s novel TheBookOfFours? India (pronounced in-DEE-ah) Cohen (CO-en) was of Philipino descent and had dark hair and eyes (probably looked a lot like {{Kennedy}} come to think of it). She was athletic and typically girly, giggling at least as much as WillowRosenberg does when she gets nervous, only for India she giggled when she wasn't nervous.
- June 23rd, 1993: Met her {{Watcher}} KitBothwell? who apparently had a thing for younger women.
- At first their relationship was wholly platonic and business-like.
- They tried to deny it but over three years the two fell in love. Save the world together a few times and whammo people get all googly eyed I don't understand it, ZachsMind
- Managed to keep it a secret from the WatchersCouncil for the most part.
- Kit & India had a pet dog named {{Mariposa}}.
- In 1996 they were attacked by a {{Wanderer}} (think IncaMummyGirl).
- India sacrificed herself to save her lover and her dog.
- India's spirit returned briefly and possessed the body of WillowRosenberg, to say goodbye to her lover and help BuffySummers and {{Faith}} with the whole Book of Fours thing.
It's assumed this is rather {{apocryphal}} although the book is published by the officially sanctioned company for professionally franchised Buffy fiction. Never in the tv show has the name of Buffy's predecessor been mentioned or revealed.
