Holden Webster was the head shrinking vampire which BuffySummers intermittently fought with and talked with throughout the BtvsSeasonSeven episode ConversationsWithDeadPeople. Holden had been a schoolmate of Buffy's. Someone whom we never met during the first three seasons because he was actually a very inconsequential part of her life. Think of him as one of the many extras we'd see meandering the halls. We learn that at one time she helped him carry a lighting board and he accidently dropped it on her foot. He was in her history class. She rarely ever gave him the time of day, but he didn't take it personally. He'd heard from friends that she was a little strange. He knew Buffy was having a relationship with a man who was older than her. Whether he meant Giles or Angel is uncertain. Through Holden we get a glimpse of how 'outsiders' viewed Buffy and her friends, who were themselves the ostracized outcasts of their own peers. After high school, Holden Webster studied karate, went into psychiatry in college, and did an internship at the local mental hospital.

He took the realization that he was now a vampire rather well. "Feels great. Strong. Like I'm connected to a powerful all-consuming evil that's gonna suck the world into a firey oblivion." but despite his now evil tendencies, Webster took the opportunity to reminisce with an old school mate, even if she did turn out to be the VampireSlayer and his arch {{nemesis}}. He fought well. He also helped Buffy talk through some things that were going on in her mind but which she couldn't admit to her friends. Buffy learned that Holden Webster had been {{sired}} by {{Spike}}, which meant that for some reason, Spike was up to no good again. Webster appeared on BuffyTheVampireSlayer for only one episode, and said episode was divided into thirds technically. So he didn't get a lot of face time, but by the time Buffy dusted him, one felt like they knew him well enough to actually miss him. Similar to CassieNewton?, many fans were disappointed that the character couldn't stay around for just a little longer.

Holden Webster was expertly portrayed by JonathanWoodward.
