The writers of the television series BuffyTheVampireSlayer are legion. In many cases, a single script would pass through the hands of many authors before completion. At times each author would take a segment between commercials and largely make it his or her own, but more often than not authors would edit one another's work. There are some television series which are written by committee. There are other series which are written by some disturbing concept of modernized demagoguery coupled with slave labor. To the best of our knowledge, Buffy was written through artistic collaboration. At least to the public eye, as yet there's not been a sour word expressed by these austere ladies and gentlemen about the writing process of Buffy. As follows is an ongoing, alphabetical list of the writers of the series and the episodes for which each is at least partly responsible. This is a work in progress. If you discover any errors or omissions in the following list, please feel free to correct them.
